Struggling to jump

My cat has been struggling to jump small heights- jumping on to a sofa might be OK in one go, but anything else takes a good few attempts. It looks like she almost drags herself up with her front paws.

She struggles to get in the window and prefers the door (even if the window is open, she will wait for ages for the door).

Thinking this is possibly cause for a check up but wondered if anyones had similar? She is approx 12 (had her 10 years but was rehomed from a vets and was around 1-2, not 100% sure).

Please take her to a vet as soon as possible.

I need to go tomorrow to get something else for her and will book an appointment when I'm in! Other than that she's fine, a little bit chubby but feel there should still be a good few years left yet for her

It could be arthritis. Most cats over 7 have it to some degree but a check at the vets definitely in order.

For sure. Will book an appt just wondered if anyone had experience and if it is something like arthritis, how it's managed. I sadly had to have my other cat PTS in feb and the only experience I have of meds was a few months of steroids for her. Will see what the vets say! Thank you
