Knock off feliway diffuser

Has anyone tried any of the off brand cat calming diffusers? If so have they worked for you?
I use 3 feliway diffusers in my house and they are brilliant. They have stopped fighting and spraying problems with my 2 (neutered) males. Only problem is the refils are so expensive and I'm tempted to try the off brand ones. Just wanted some real life reviews and recommendations.

I've used Pet remedy, not sure if it has any effect and it smells. Came across a different one at a cat show the other day and meant to buy one then forgot! Can't remember what it was called.

Pet Remedy is valerian so totally different to Feliway.
