Just wondering if there are any vets around or anyone's had any advice on this.
My cat takes thyronorm for overactive thyroid. As per the advice on the bottle I didn't give it to her or clean out her litter tray etc while I was pregnant because it can be harmful.
There isn't any advice about if you're breastfeeding. I haven't been giving her the medicine, but I have started scooping out her litter tray while wearing rubber gloves (but not single use ones). My partner works quite long hours so it's easier for me to do some of the litter tray maintenance
Does anyone know if this might be risky in any way while breastfeeding?
