Loose stool

My five year old cat has had loose stools since yesterday morning. In the last time they've had about seven runny poos. What do I need to do in this instance?

Are they well otherwise - eating, drinking and not dehydrated?

In an otherwise fit and well adult cat I would probably just keep an eye on them at home. You can get ProKolin online which firms up their poo - we always have some in the house and have used it several times (and avoided an expensive vet trip).

However if they were showing other signs of being unwell then it would be a vet trip.
