Whiskas vomiting

I've had to change my cats' food because of it. He seems to be doing well on Smilla. Is it the grains, or maybe something else ? Is this common in cats ? Does anyone have suggestions for other foods to try ? Thank you

Recently moved mine onto grain free in response to Tobias's soft stools (he's always had them). Both cats adore the Webbox Naturals, and surprisingly Morrisons do a Grain Free which not only do the cats like, but so does my bank balance.

Oh I'll need to try that from Morrisons, and I'll try the Weebox too, thank you

It could be the grains, but could be other factors like the low quality of the meat in Whiskas - meat and animal derivatives can include feathers, hooves, beaks etc. Using that term also exempts them from a consistent recipe. One batch could be mostly beef, the next could be pork or chicken - it depends what kind of remnants they get from the processing factory. It's why they say "of which 4% chicken" - that's the guarantee. The rest of the meat could be absolutely anything and it'll never stay the same for long.

@hoarahloux I have noticed the new food smells and looks better. Just is a bit expensive

I changed my chronic vomiter on to Amazon life long. And it was a game changer.

Greategret · 10/08/2024 13:58

Worming my cat worked wonders for her persistent vomitting.

I don't think it's that, he's wormed regularly. I noticed catnip makes him throw up as well
