Cat wound advice

My stupid but adorable cat has a small injury on her neck that I've been keeping an eye on and cleaning and putting leucillin on and so on. Every time it looks like it's healing up fine the daft animal scratches the scab off and starts it off again. Doesn't look infected or anything and she's fine in herself but I'll be making her a vet appointment just to check it when they open. Anyone have any advice on how to stop her kicking at it in the meantime? Can't put a cone on as that would rub it.

I don't know what to do he keeps rubbing his chin on the corners of stuff and washing face with paw, his whiskers are gone and fur also. He's very vet aggressive so I was trying to avoid that but now it's gotten to the point where I might have to unless I can figure out something else that I can try or what's wrong with him if anybody has any idea that would be great.

Ask the vet for some gabapentin to take before the appointment so that it is not so difficult, and get him to the vet! He can't be left to go on like that without medical care. It suggests severe pain in his mouth/jaw to trigger him to rub his whiskers and fur off.
