I'm so heartbroken. I've posted about her a lot and I can't believe she's gone. I keep seeing her little face on the table.

So sorry for you. It's utter devastation when they've been a part of your life for so long ❤️

Wolfiefan · 21/07/2024 09:09

Oh OP I’m so very very sorry for your loss. That pic brought a tear to my eye. We lost a semi long haired black and white girl at age 19 some years ago. You never ever forget them but in time you can remember all the good memories with a smile. Beautiful Cordelia. 💔

Defiantlynot41 · 21/07/2024 09:13

So sorry for the loss of your beautiful Cordelia Flowers

Sethera · 21/07/2024 09:14

I'm so sorry. I remember how it felt to lose my 19 year old boy. It wasn't just about missing him, it was the fact we had been through so much together between my mid-20s and mid-40s. My life had changed completely, yet he had been a constant throughout and the future seemed to stretch ahead bleakly without him.

I am so sorry for your loss, you must be aching. How many years did you have her? Lucky Cordelia to have been so lovedFlowers

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 21/07/2024 09:15

Thank you for your lovely replies. She was the most gorgeous cat.

I had her from six weeks old. She was like my second child. Sounds daft I know.

It doesn’t sound in the slightest bit daft. We rehomed our Susie at aged 2 (with her 18 month old kitten!) and they were family.
She had 19 wonderful years of love and kindness.

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 21/07/2024 09:23

She was honestly beautiful.

Ahh she's lovely . Yes you will hear a noise and think "Oh that;s her"

Our old cat was 17yo ((we had her since 2yo)
Her best friend was NDN cat who was 21yo , their dogs found this scrap of a kitten in a hedge .

Cats are a huge part of your life and leave a huge gap when they depart .

Such a gorgeous girl. So sorry for your loss. Also lost a 19yo cat recently and truly understand the grief and heartbreak.

marypoppinsreturns · 21/07/2024 12:07

So sorry for your loss. She was beautiful. My hairy girls are both 18 and I can't imagine how I'll feel when this day comes for us. Take care.

southchinasea · 21/07/2024 15:27

So sorry to hear that. She was beautiful and clearly so loved.

AuntieJoyce · 21/07/2024 16:29

I am sorry to hear that too. She looks a floofy beauty. My old lady is 19 as well and as someone said above for that length of time they’re such a big part of your life. Flowers

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 22/07/2024 07:24

Thank you all
