Has anyone used a pet diffuser?

Hello! My cat has been at the vet with ideopathic urinary problems. The vet thiinks he might just be stressed because there is a visiting cat on our property. She's suggested we get a calming cat diffuser. I'm in Australia so brands will be different but it's something like this

www.feliway.com.au/products/feliway-diffuser?variant=40294415171639&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwhb60BhClARIsABGGtw8BsNIuIWj2H1ZBSLhMnImFN1ExP5m38wTQ-HbBOc3LpZSherlixRYaAjf_EALw_wcB

Has anyone else used them? Do they work in keeping your cats calm and happy? I'd probably need two for different areas of the house - they're $100 each, but then two refills would cost roughly $100 per month, so just want to know if it works before I invest. Thank you!

Feliway has worked brilliantly for all 3 cats I've had with urinary problems.

I had a routine of first sign of trouble:
Stick the Feliways on
Start cat on Metacam
Get an extra litter bin out

Worked every time until I got allergic to Feliway

But yes, they do work. I didn't keep them on all the time, as you say they are expensive. But you can spot your cat getting stressy, spending too much time fussing in the litter bin, wees going over the side of the bin. And then switch them all on.

I bought one as had a new kitten and older cat kept hissing. I’m not sure if it’s due to the feliway or as time as gone on but they seem to get on a bit better and I think it’s helped calm things down. $100 seems a lot. Mine was £26 all in

Thank you @AnnaMagnani and @teaandtoastwithmarmite I'll give it a try then. There's one that's called 'something friends' so i might get one of those and a general one as the cats scrap quite a bit so will be interesting if that calms them both down as well as solving the urinary problems :)

I've never found the friends one works. However you can't predict which one a cat will react to, it's just trial and error.

I found the friends one works best! Pet remedy is also good. But it does smell a bit.

Yes, brilliantly effective. I used Feliway and still keep
an
emergency spray. Shop around for an offer.
