We left our cats alone overnight, which we have often done with no issues, but this time one of them peed on our bed. I suspect it was done in fear during a huge thunderstorm on Sunday night. After lots of washing and hoping my bedding can be salvaged, I am hoping to hear stories of cats doing this as a one off rather than starting a habit. Cats are littermate brothers aged 10, generally get along with a few squabbles, no other recent changes in the household. We have got 5 trays but they tend to both poo in the same one and pee in another and leave the rest clean. They have outdoor access only when we are home, not in UK and I worry about predators and bad humans.
