Please can I have your litter recommendations.
At the moment it needs changing at least every other day, if not every day as we have 3 cats.
We've tried Aldi own brand and Felight.
Cost is a consideration as well as smell and being better for the planet.
Thanks

I'd use a clumping litter so you can remove pee and poo and then it lasts longer. Do you have more than one tray too?

Cat tax
(That actually have two lidded trays, this was a temporary second tray when they came home!)

I use Catsan wood comfort, I’ve got two cats at the moment and I scoop out the poos / pees as I see them and change it completely once a week.

Cats best flushable smart pellets. It never smells, doesn't track and clumps very well. Plus you can flush it as it's made of corn. It's not cheap but I buy it online from Zooplus in multiples which is a bit cheaper. It lasts for ages because you can just scoop out and doesn't spread to the whole tray. I'd never go back.

You arent supposed to flush animal waste down the toilet. I used to scoop and dispose of in the bin in a dog poo bag

I use Everclean from Amazon or pets at home. I have 2 cats and no smell. I just pick out the lumps twice a day.

We use Catsan natural clumping , very easy to pick the wees / poos out and very good for masking smells .

We use Greenwood's litter.

No smell, it does track a bit but I put up with it because it lasts forever and doesn't stick to the bottom of the tray. We top up twice a week or so and do a full change maybe once a month.

We have three cats who go outside but always come in to use their trays and are in overnight - a 30l bag lasts around six weeks.
