Best tracker/collar?

Not for me, I have an indoor cat. My in laws are adopting a seven year old cat who is mostly indoor but who is a bit skittish.
They are considering a tracker on collar as an option. Any recommendations? Thanks

I've had Pet tracer for my cats for 3 years. Would absolutely recommend.

No collar. Keep the cat in for weeks until it’s really settled. Ensure it’s neutered and chipped.

No collar. Even the ‘safety’ ones are a strangulation risk. Ensure the cat is microchipped and details are kept up to date. And keep inside for the first month to make sure it can fine its way home.

I'm also not keen on a collar. Mine doesn't have one. It's my Dd that's keen on it rather than in laws. They want her to get good and comfy inside for weeks before considering letting her out.

I use an AirTag with a rubber holder which attaches to any collar
Finn does lose it occasionally but can then track to find - unless it’s in a field too far away from signal and with no public footpath grrrrrrrr
