Cat pee odour and washing machine query

Help! If I wash a coverlet my dear feline friend decided to use as a loo, will the smell permeate subsequent machine loads?

(Washing machine only goes as high as 60 degrees, btw)

No, the smell will not permeate subsequent machine loads.

P.S. Unless your cat is elderly, peeing on your bedding is a sign of anxiety or distress.

@RogueFemale Thanks, am relieved to hear re washing machine.

I think it was a one-off, due to a sudden drill noise from next door (thanks, neighbour). She's never before weed indoors anywhere other than in her nearby litter tray. Is usually a 'garden toileter'.

But I will monitor her closely, just in case of another underlying cause.

Hopefully a one-off from the drill noise - cats can be very sensitive. The only time my cat peed on my duvet was after he was was badly attacked in the garden by the neighbour's cat. It was a one-off in six years.
