Snowflake cat litter

Hello. I wasn't planning on a cat but my neighbour abandoned him after mistreating him. Vadercat is absolutely lovely.

I've sorted him out as best I can. I don't drive and it's difficult to get his litter. He has Snowflake woodchip and both he and I like it.

It's £5.49 for a 15 litre bag in Home Bargains. I can only order one bag at a time on their website and they charge £3.99 for delivery! I'd pay the delivery if I could order 4 or 6 bags.

Other online sites charge a lot more for this litter.

Home Bargains is a short distance down the road from me so I've been getting three bags at a time and transporting it in a wire shopping trolley. Not ideal!

Any suggestions for online sites or practical solutions would be very welcome.

Vadercat is a moggie but very large. He has a jumbo litter tray and I change his litter every five days.

I use intersand litter. I change in once a month. (Scoop daily) I get it online from Zooplus.

Thanks. I'll look up intersand. Changing it once a month is far more practical. The pine stuff smells amazing though!

Think we need a photo of Vadercat 😁

He's asleep in his cupboard atm but I'll see if I can get a photo opportunity when he emerges!

A wheeled shopping cart like your granny might have had will facilitate transport of the cat litter.

Thanks. Ideally I'd like one that will take three or four bags. Maybe a big square one? I'll have a look.

I use Worlds Best Cat Litter and it never needs changing. You just scoop out the poops and the clumps of wee then sprinkle some more down. It's around £36 a 12.5kg bag, but it lasts weeks and I have three cats. There's no wee smell either. I love it.

Thanks. That's another one for me to research.
