Cat had a seizure

My cat usually appears in my bedroom at 6am demanding breakfast. But this morning I was woken up by a banging noise and she was in the doorway having a fit.

It lasted a few seconds and she seemed very confused afterwards. She is OK now but very quiet and not asking for food yet.

I am waiting for the vet to open, but wondered if anyone has any experience of this? She is 13 and in very good health so far.

Thanks.

Ah, she is eating now, so that is good.

Just in case it helps anyone...vet says as it is a one off as far as we know, to keep a close eye on her. If it happens again they will do bloodwork etc.

Hey. How is she doing now, during the day? Do hope she and you are ok!

Hi! She seems fine now, thanks for asking. Keeping a very close eye on her and crossing fingers the seizure was a one off. It was really horrible to watch.
