Nemesis

Who is your cat's nemesis? I think every hero has a protagonist!
Or more than one?
Here is Breadcat's foe. We know when he is in the garden has she can come through the catflap at such speed that here paws do not touch the ground for 2 metres.

There are also a couple of twin tuxedos but I have no picture yet!

Husband asked if foxes have fleas and when I said yes asked if I could flea treat the fox!

Ahh Breadcat! Eko’s nemesis is a fluffy tuxedo we call Floof. Used to be Eko’s bestie but didn’t get snipped when Eko did so they followed different paths. Eko was very sad about not being friends for a long time. Now they just BATTLE (more like handbags really).
Boone’s nemesis is Eko 😁 And any cat who comes into ‘his garden’ who then needs to be sorted out.

The late Magics nemesis was a black and white cat. No idea who he was or where he came from. The result was a punctured eyeball and a week at the vet!

I remember your picture of the B&w cat @Toddlerteaplease ! Is it still about causing trouble?

Pudmyboy · 24/04/2024 22:55

My Pud had an enemy, a beautiful black cat who was twice Pud's size and would scoff all his food. I had to be alert for any caterwauling in the garden and be ready to chase it out. When I started the chasing (clapping my hands to startle his enemy), Pud would join in and run ahead to make it look like he was the boss/leader.
Eventually Pud realised that even if his enemy ate his food I would just supply more so they developed an uneasy truce, no fighting but they used to give each other a wide berth.

@pud no, I don't think so. No idea if it's the same cat. Since the fence was done. I don't get other cats in the garden often.

The cat over the road. He has no idea he is her nemesis as he’s too busy with his own nemesis who lives next door but one.

ah.. our 2 furry babies, and pretty much every other cat on our street is being bullied by a black and white male called 'bruno'. so much so that he features heavily on our street facebook group! he is closely followed by his sister called 'girl'.

prior to having a fancy cat flap, bruno chased off my ginger tom (sinki) and we didnt see sinki for 5 weeks!

we. now have installed a cat flat which reads their chips in their necks.. bruno and girl try to get in, but now my kitties have a much calmer life

Crikey the vagaries of cat politics can get complicated!
