Anyone else cat do this. Penelope takes it in turn with each paw to do it. Never both at once, as I've seen every other cat do.

I also suspect she has thumbs. Her toe with her dew claw seems more mobile than most.

A cat with opposable thumbs is terrifying!😂

She’s so beautiful. I’ve only ever had cats that made bread with both paws at the same time. Penelope is unique! 😻

I have a cat with thumbs (polydactyl). He can open cupboards 🙃

Pretty Penelope 🥰 I hope she and you are doing okay. 💖

Same here, that's why I'm wondering about it. She's just weird. We are doing ok ish. She's fine!

Toots does this. Whilst laying down, she will do biscuits with alternative paws.

Clarich007 · 20/04/2024 14:53

Glad you are sort of ok Toddler.
It's not easy is it ? Just noticed what beautiful eyes Penelope has, what a contrast to the colour of her fur. She's gorgeous.

My son's cat once locked him out of his own bedroom. She had thumbs and cunning too. We think she must have jumped at the door and knocked the keys to partly turn to lock the door. We had to break door down to get in.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/04/2024 19:21

When I first met her I thought she was polydactyl or had an issue with her paws. As they looked odd to me. But I think the toe with her few claw ok is just a bit longer than usual. And a bit more mobile than I've seen before. But since I strongly suspect that she's an evil genius, planning world domination. I do t know why I'm surprised. 🤣
