Kitten to cat

Hello all.
I have a lovely tabby, 9 months old who is currently eating 1 or 2 pouches of kitten Blink! plus a good sized bowl of Iams kitten dry per day.
When do I start switching him to adult? His weight is progressing nicely, isn't over or under, on the heavier side though. He is a moggie but as he grows I'm guessing (and a groomer also asked) he might have some Maine Coon in the mix so being on the heavier side seems normal. He isn't fat at all just veeery long and gangly at the mo.
He has been neutered if that matters.
Do I wait till he is bang on a year before starting him on adult? I bulk order his wet food so he has 3 weeks or so left, dry is as and when. I'm happy either way just don't want to be doing it wrong.
Many thanks.

We tend to switch ours over at around nine months of age, give or take.

We've always had adult cats as well as kittens, though, so they're often trying to eat the adult food way before that point anyway Grin

We need to see said big boi before we can offer advice 😂

We changed around 9/10 months too.

Ah no it won't let me add a pic "due to denied permissions". Sorry guys. He is a big beautiful hairy grey tabby cat with a super long racoon tail. Thanks for the advice.
