Lap wars

Cat Three has recently decided he needs to move up the pecking order and is annoying Cat One and Cat Two exceedingly by sleeping in their spots.

Not content with taking Cat Two’s chair, he has been sleeping in her new bed under our bed, which we had to buy because he took possession of the original.

Cat one has decided to strike back. The lap he is sitting in is DH’s, where Cat Three sits every night. Cat One has never in 10 years sat on a lap.
If you look closely, Cat Three is extremely unimpressed.

He is not to be thwarted though. He knows Cat One hates it when he snuggles up to him.

I love the photo where Cat 3 joins Cat 1 on the lap. Gorgeous Cats 😻😻😻

However, Cat One did not move and Cat Three has had to retreat.
As soon as he was gone Cat One moved to his usual spot, next to DH.

As soon as he settled Cat Three returned to take his rightful place, and all is now peaceful.
