Bloody cat! He's 11 months old and has been getting bolder around the neighbourhood. He likes to walk with the dogs for about 100ft when they go on their walk then wait for them to come back then walk home. Tonight he walked with us to half way down the road. We walked on and went on our evening walk. We left about 6 got home about 715. No cat to be seen. By 830 were getting really worried so walked around with dogs calling him. Finally as it gets dark dh took one last look where we left him and he was under a Bush about 20 ft further up the road looking terrified!. I was just about to post on local fb groups . He is chipped and has a tag with address phone number and email.
I was so worried. He is now fast asleep after eating a huge dinner. Argh!!

He is soooo cute though! I love gingers!

Glad he's home safe & sound - something tells me this won't be the last time he worries you

He's lovely! We do worry about them. Hopefully he will have a sound sleep.

I love it when, like in your photo, a cat stretches out their paws and makes sure that the paws touch each other.

Our two are adults and born living rough in a garden.
Male is an utter wuss !
He has 3-4 times been a Dirty Stop Out and had DH checking the local streets and down the service road at the back
In January ( freezing night) he stayed out till 2am ..(I waited up for him !)
Just sauntered back , no shits given.

Female stops out but we can see her .

Hopefully your little biy will stay closer to home after his adventures but I think you're on a hiding to nothing . Maybe he was off looking for The GingerCat Shared BrainCell as he reckoned it was his turn.

Dreamies Tub is your secret weapon,

He looks just like my boy who died over 20 years ago, and he was a wee shit for staying out as well. I couldn't begin to count the nights I set my alarm for every hour to see if he'd come home! It got to twilight and his eyes would start dancing and I would know it was going to be an uphill struggle to get him in!

Would you consider a catio or catproofing your garden? I'd be so afraid that beautiful boy would come to harm! Current cats are indoors and happy with that. My nerves couldn't stand that again!

Currently sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for one of mine to come in.
Furry git.
