Webbox Tasty Sticks with Salmon & Trout

Oh. My. God. Just bought these for our cat. She LOVES them..but the smell! I have never smelled anything so horrific in my life! Yet she did not care. Just snaffled them down. I don't think I will be able to open another pack for her! Just wanted to share my pain with you. I've washed my hands three times now and can still smell it!

The cheese ones are particularly stinky too

They are crack for cats 🐈‍⬛

What does it smell of? Fishy, or like a very nasty and strong garbage stench?

I find that around 1 in 20 packs that I buy will smell really rancid, like the pack hasn't been sealed properly and the sticks inside have gone off. Those ones I have to throw away, and you can still smell them when they're in the kitchen bin until I take the bag out.

Wash your hands in cold water...... it stops the smell x don't know how but it works

I had one packet and they absolutely stank 🤢🤢 the treats were crumbling too

I don't handle them
I rip the top of the pack, push up the stick, cat pulls it out the packet

Mine love that delicacy too. I just give them a whole stick at a time broken up whilst holding my nose.

My girls won't touch them.

The cheese ones as PP said also honk - as do the cod!! My two love them unfortunately 😭

I don't get it on my hands though, I've learnt I can break the stick up in the wrapper by pushing it in the wrapper with my nail, it slices right through! Then I just open the end and push the little bits out! Saves my hands from smelling 😂

I can’t describe the smell. It’s not fish, it’s like a really disgusting smelly person who hasn’t washed in years. Cheese mixed with fish, stale armpits…

I will now not use my hands to break them up 😄
