The greedy little madam had just stolen and eaten the fat from a pork chop, that I'd cut off. Straight off my plate. Will it do her any harm?

It can be quite dangerous. It can induce extreme smugness.

Seek medical help if she keeps looking at you and says 'you mug' with her eyes.

@soupfiend you had me really worried for a minute there! Penelope was trying to get in on it, but she ate it to quick!

So your sister was right after all...

Mine scavenged the three-day-old rind from a steak out of the food waste bin the other day. When asked what he thought he was doing, he replied 'You left it there, ya sucker.'

No ill-effects apart from slightly runny poo which I ascribe to him having been out on the scrounge round the neighbours'.

I've just changed the bed sheets, so am fully expecting it to repeat on her. She likes fresh sheets to puke on!

No puke as yet. And litter tray normal. I'm amazed!

Hee hee hee @soupfiend

ahh. I love cheddar. Wonder if her tummy loves her though…

Toddlerteaplease · 02/04/2024 14:11

She seems completely fine. I'm actually really surprised! She's so sensitive!

Maybe if it’s theft then her tummy is fine with it 😂

Toddlerteaplease · 02/04/2024 18:21

I've had cats that loved bacon rind, and the skin off chicken/turkey. Never fizzed on them!

Toddlerteaplease · 02/04/2024 21:36

She likes bread and pasta.

She likes bread and pasta.

I remember when I was little, people would give their cats bread soaked in milky tea and they ate it!!

I think my three would not be happy!! One isn't even interested in tuna! None of them will eat chicken either, weirdos! The last two cats I had really loved turkey. One sat on the windowsill outside all day, and when he finally got a piece of turkey through the window, he got so excited he fell off!
