Cat trackers

Hi All,

Wondering if any of you have any experiance with cat trackers and if so if anyone had any recommendations?
They all seem massively bulky to me.

Backstory -

Had an absolute drama today when our 6 month old kitten got out the house and went missing for 14 hours.
She has pretty much been a house cat but I'd let her in the garden most days whilst I was around for a bit of a play but she never went far.
Today she got out the front door and bolted. Have spent the entire day searching for her and thankfully she has shown up tonight.

Whilst she was gone I ordered an AirTag and collar for her to avoid so much stress if this happens again but having looked online it's perhaps not going to be great in that we live rurally and there's potentially not going to be loads of people roaming the woods where she'll likely be hiding out or lost.

There's a massive range of trackers but most seem to require charging daily and are very bulky.

Does anyone use a tracking system and is so which one and what's your experience with it?

Thanks!

I've had the tractive cat tracker for mine for several months now after he went missing overnight a few times. It's been great. Doesn't bother him at all although he's not great at keeping collars on so now he wears a leather collar with no safety elastic etc.
Am able to see his movements on the app and can track him in real time. Charge it about every 3 days
