Random musing…
I have moved over to using a different cat litter which I love as it’s so much easier, less waste and much cleaner but it is super expensive. So I order it on repeat from the big warehouse and this month it was delayed.
Off to pets at home I go to buy a small bag to keep my trays topped up until big bag arrives. This bag costs £25 for 6kg in PAH. ( it costs nearly the same for double the size in warehouse)
When I get there one of the shop assistants is filling shelf and so she asks me which one I want and proceeds to hand me a bag that has a small hole in it (this is obvious because the cat litter is vacuum sealed and the bag is flapping not tight).
I say can I please have one without a hole in it Thankyou. She says but it’s only a tiny hole and it won’t have leaked much. I say I understand that but I would like an undamaged bag. She says but it’s only lost a little and I will get tape and tape it for you.
I say no Thankyou I would like an undamaged bag.
This conversation went back and forward with her insisting I take the ‘only slightly damaged’ bag and me saying no Thankyou, it’s is v expensive cat litter and I want an undamaged bag.
Eventually she hands me one, follows me to till and proceeds to complain to the till person that I wouldn’t take the other bag.
It’s annoyed me as she made me out to be totally unreasonable but I know I wasn’t!
