Kitten back from vets and sibling hissing etc

Hello,
So took one of my kittens to the vets today to get neutered. He's OK and wanting to play with his sister.
However his sister is scared, hissing low growling at him.
He just looks confused.
Anyone have any tips please? And idea of how long this usually lasts?
Thank you

Oh bless, it's just because he smells funny... and if she's been to the vet's, he smells of 'bad times' to her!

They'll probably be fine within 24 hours. I would say 'make sure he gets some rest and peace' but this is cats... ours were high for hours and wrestling each other around the house after their spays, despite our best efforts... 😄

Just ignore them lol - they'll be fine with each other in a day or two.

I dont have to cats. I tried but unfortunately had to give the kitten back. When I was researching I read something about rubbing a blanket on your cats before they go the vets so it has scent and then rubbing it on the cat that has been to the vet before they come home to transfer scent onto them. Maybe this is worth a try if you need to do this again. I have a feeling it was a Jackson galaxy video on youtube

I hope they're coming to a detente today...

Mind you, he's just had his trouble-puffs removed - no wonder he 'looks confused'... 😄

Actually, when ours got spayed, they had mood swings as their hormones resettled for a couple of weeks, so be ready for that... 😼

Awww this happened with mine when my boy had a hernia op, is yours wearing a body suit? Mine was and she hated that too as he was bright red and smelling of the vets. She soon came round after a few days and i just left them to their own thing but gave them plenty of seperate loving. I think after day 4 i started playing with them together with a string & feather toy and they soon were chasing it together again :) speedy recovery for your kitten 🥰
