The ultimate betrayal

My gorgeous girl caught an absolutely HUGE mouse today which was removed (dead and still warm 😬).

She's fuming and keeps sniffing the carpet where she left it. To top it off, she had her de-wormer spot-on this afternoon. She only reluctantly accepted dinner.

Any complaints from your resident felines today? Before and after pics duly provided.

What a beautiful face! Look at that nosey! 😍 I think you'd better go and catch another mouse as a replacement...

Heating is broken and I shared a bed.....happily.....with 2 dogs and 3 cats. Dot, rolled as I rolled, sitting on my hip, stomach, bottom and using claws to hang on! I ended up repeatedly pushing her off so, today, she's not talking to me and has switched affections to the puppy she couldn't stand until today!

The cats on this thread are definitely the Right Sort of cats - black and white and fluffy round the edges.

Ahaha @emm142 still alive given your level of betrayal?

We once had a revenge situation where black cat brought in a mouse and DH put it outside (middle of the night). Next morning while having tea we were having a giggle as cat was rooting behind the book basket in our room, which was where night mouse had been hiding. ‘Ahh. He is looking for his mousie we took away’ etc.
After a while ‘ha ha, he’s so keen, let’s show him it’s gone. WAIT - WTF - there’s ANOTHER ONE BEHIND THE BASKET!!’

We don’t know if he brought 2 in at the same time or he found another one. But he was a demon for bringing in ‘friends’ for a play date.

He’s old, disabled and arthritic now so we help him relive his glory days with lots of stories of his epic prowess. While his energetic yet much dimmer housemate brings in so many mice and then leaves them in DH’s office.
