Has anyone got Tractive mini?

Would it be too big for an 8 month old kitten? Also do you think they are worth it? Are you happy you got yours? 🐱

I don't let my cats out without their tractives on and it does give me peace of mind. We had a cat go missing for 3 days pre tractive and the misery was awful so we kitted him out when he thankfully returned and all subsequent family cats have had them. We have successfully tracked one cat with the tractive - he was a wanderer and wasn't missing but we just regularly used it to locate him and bring him home for tea. Mostly with my current pair we find the tractives after they have parted company with the cats but this isn't a frequent occurrence. We had a smallish kitten wear the mini one successfully from about six months.

Thanks. Do you put on their current collar or did you use the collar provided?

have done a combination of both - the collars provided are fine and they only have other collars for Christmas outfits and such like

They are an absolute Godsend.
I have one and use it at separate times on all 3 of my cats, they were going off for long periods in the summer, l was interested to see where they were going. It just reassured me, they were actually very close by in an overgrown garden, by but l can't see out of my garden with the trees, high hedges etc, and my cats have very little recall.
None of my cats have a problem wearing it, it does look a little bulky but doesn't seem to bother them.
I think a lot of cats owners would feel more confident allowing their cats out with one of these. Even at work l can track where cat is on my phone.
Tractive carried out a massive survey and you would be surprised, most cats don't actually venture that far and have their own familiar little route. I
You do have to pay a subscription, but worth it for peace of mind. it tells you more on their website.
