The best Dreamies flavour?

Mine go crazy for the duck flavour and have absolutely no interest in the cat nip ones.
Cheese is acceptable.
What do other slaves say pleases their furry overlords?

Mine used to go mad for any of them. Although it appears Penelope isn't fussed.

afaloren · 02/03/2024 11:01

Chicken (I think? The orange packet) is their favourite. They like them all tbh although I haven’t tried the catnip ones.

SoupDragon · 02/03/2024 11:02

Mine like them all - although I've substituted Sainsbury's version. They haven't noticed. It's rare to get away with that kind of thing I think!

justsaying2023 · 02/03/2024 12:48

Cheese here and she would prefer a constant supply ha ha

Dotty2dot · 02/03/2024 12:53

Mine likes the cheese ones sometimes and then goes off them and then likes the chicken ones. I've tried to substitute for home brands but he sniffs them and walks off in disgust.

Laurama91 · 02/03/2024 18:00

Mine will eat any. I try to give the ones with vitamins although I think this might be a marketing ploy but I still fall for it 😂

lifebeginsaftercoffee · 02/03/2024 18:04

Tuna, salmon or chicken.

FionnulaTheCooler · 02/03/2024 18:04

Cheese or catnip are the favourites but any flavour will be eagerly consumed. I did once try the Aldis own brand version but these were unacceptable to Her Highness.

EspressoMacchiato · 02/03/2024 18:05

Mine prefer Felix party mix to dreamies and the catnip ones are hands down the winner.

Snooks1971 · 02/03/2024 18:07

Chicken, hmm no she says.
Cheese, yes!
Catnip, again, yes!
Salmon, yes yes yes!
Duck you say? Haven’t seen those, I will probably be sent out tomorrow to forage for them.

Justcashnosweets · 02/03/2024 18:07

Any flavour goes with my 2, but one isn't as keen on the Catnip ones. I actually found they both really like Lidls own Dreamies type treats, but they havn't been in stock for a while now.

SevenSeasOfRhye · 02/03/2024 18:07

I had to stop feeding Dreamies as one of my cats became addicted to the extent that she was constantly pestering me for them, including taking swipes at me when I wouldn't comply. It took weeks of cold turkey to stop her doing this, and then a few months later a single Dreamie fell out when I was clearing a drawer; she pounced and we had to go through her withdrawal all over again.

C1N1C · 02/03/2024 18:12

Any of the mixed bags!

Onacuctustree · 02/03/2024 20:22

It's obvious that the overlords are all different.
But interesting that supermarket own brands are acceptable.
I need to try them!

Catnip Dreamies all the way. Send her wild. But the webbox (or Waitrose) chicken sausages are the treat to end all treats. They only appear when a serious bribe is required.

Ihatemondays1962 · 03/03/2024 22:52

Mine likes the cheese ones. I tried to fool her into eating the cheaper aldi version but she was not keen.

Canthave2manycats · 04/03/2024 00:54

Mine don't seem to be that fussed in whichever ones are in the blue packet.

Favourite is chicken.
