Physio is really pleased with progress and has added in more exercises - figures of eight through chicanes and stand to sit to beg! A second up down up exercise minus the wobble cushion I am going to be exhausted - you can in fairness see his progress when watching films of him 2 weeks apart
Today we went for second try at hydrotherapy he wouldn’t walk about much but did try the treadmill - having less water helped and he didn’t yowl or try and escape this week - I’ve booked another block of 4 so will be interesting
He is always exhausted after sessions so must be doing something!

@Iamacatslave thank you - the coat went back - too long and slightly big on me - pity it was a lovely colour though

Love his amber eyes contrasting with his silver grey fur!
Worth getting a Jaeger coat so he could have a decent box to hide in!
Hope the grumpiness is not too much of a setback and he carries on improving

I have really noticed improvements this week, Finlay is climbing much more, seems to have regained power in affected limbs so return to vertical take offs and bone callous much smaller
Downside is he’s even more bored and becoming quite challenging
Hydro week 5 today and whilst he did much more walking and tolerated the rank for 25 minutes he was trying to escape at every possible opportunity!
Lovely hydro lady seemed a good option for escape ramp involving claws to neck and head and DD and I had to extricate him from her - I was mortified
He does come home damp and exhausted though!

I like how he is checking in the mirror that he is still a very handsome boy, and I used to have net curtains too...

CatChant · 19/03/2024 10:49

Not letting it hold him back then!

Yes, Finlay, you are a very handsome fellow.

Toddlerteaplease · 19/03/2024 11:27

The net curtain picture made me laugh out loud!

JaceLancs · 19/03/2024 18:53

Finn thinks going up the inside of curtains is less noticeable - spot the ear and paw poking out

I spy Finlay.

He can be very challenging - especially as I worry about the effect on his recovery - next minute he is back to kitty fluff ball

Ahh well done Finlay! And what a lovely cuddle photo!

Pudmyboy · 23/03/2024 16:53

Yay for Findlay! Agree with @OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon , he is checking he is still handsome!
Great to see he is continuing to improve even if that means wrecked curtains!
