How to deter massive tom cat from harassing mine

My cat is a small neutered female, and she’s been in a few very vocal scraps with a huge tom cat that keeps coming into our yard. I think she’s pretty aggressive with other cats herself (the rescue centre said she can’t live with others as constantly fought her sister).

Worried she’ll get hurt if she can’t escape into the catflap in time. Also, one of them has just poo’ed all over the patio near the catflap 🤢

Anyway of detering the tom?

As the owner of an arsehole tomcat he hangs out where life has been made easy for him - door open into conservatory, cat flap into a kitchen where food is out 24/7, owner who doesn't like him but is too sweet to tell him to piss off.
