Litter-Robot and other automated litter boxes

So I’ve been thinking about whether one of these would make life easier.

We currently have a couple of big metal litter boxes as Mr G is a bit of a long boy and likes the room. He weighs about a stone and isn’t at all overweight but he is pretty tall and long.

The trouble with this is that I can’t really handle the trays when it comes to a litter change. It’s just too big and heavy for me ( chronic illness means limited energy and variable strength).

So I was thinking that one of the automated ones might make things easier to manage.

Any experience with them?

My friend has Litter-Robot and said it's been life changing for similar reasons you're considering one.

That’s really good to know. DP usually handles it but that puts a bit of a limit on being away for work and things like that.
