Kitten feeding

Hi all. I have a 12 week kitten who has decided she doesn't like kitten food and only wants the pate food I feed my adult cat! She does have kitten biscuits which she likes but is cat food going to be an issue or is there a kitten pate/mousse food I can get her? I've tried smushing the kitten food and she's not fooled!

Kitten tax paid!

As long as she's eating well, she will be fine.

Very cute too!

Ah, she'll be fine.

With such an exquisite face, of course she has a refined palette!

Kitten food is a very recent "thing" so I wouldn't worry too much as long as she's eating. The only thing to bear in mind is adult food might be a bit rich for her and could give her an upset stomach.

Pets at home will probably have a kitten mousse food

You can filter for type of food e.g. pate/mousse

I got very hung up on my kitten eating only kitten food until DH pointed out that feral kittens don’t catch special kitten mice.

Her litter tray is showing no signs of an upset stomach and she happily puts away plenty of the other cat food. She turns her nose up at the kitten food and just tries to Bury it! Ha

Il have a look at the pets at home site. Quickly scouting it the lily's kitchen is the best option but jeeze Louise it is expensive! Il compare the ingredients to see what's so different. I'm expecting gold dust for that price! x

If she's happy on what she's getting at the moment then just stick with it. Our kitten always pinches the adult food and he's never had any problems.

He's nearly nine months and fighting fit Grin
