Zylkene for cat with dementia

My elderly cat Smudge has been diagnosed with dementia and had miraculous results with Zylkene supplements - for over two months she slept through the night and seemed much happier. Sadly for the last week or so it’s like before she started taking them again - unable to settle at night and meowing and meowing from 2am - 4am. I guess this is because dementia progresses, as it does in humans. My question is, has anyone in this situation has good results with upping the dose? It’s a natural milk supplement with no known side effects. I will make her another vet appointment- but we could both do with a good nights sleep. Any advice very welcome!

It's worth a try.

I heard it described as the equivalent of a mug of Horlicks.

Aww that’s a lovely thought - Smudge having not one, but two, mugs of Horlicks of a night ❤️
