An energy efficient cat flap that detects prey?

Does this exist? We would love to install a cat flap, but we need something that 1) will keep the cats locked out if they have prey in their mouths, and 2) is energy efficient enough to be suitable for a near-passive house. I’ve seen individual cat flaps that do each of these things, but never both in one product!

Any suggestions?

Watching with interest.

The only catflap I’ve come across that supposedly stops prey is Only Cats, and I’ve yet to see a video of it actually working!

Watching as well

It would be more energy efficient for you to be on permanent door duty. 😂

I think there are several in the pipeline, though the last one I saw advertised was still 'crowd funding'

I know they have a built in camera and assume will need some kind of App

We have a supposedly App controlled cat flap that never works so I'm not holding my breath
