New kitten hasn't pooped yet

Hi,
We picked up a new kitten to join our family yesterday (very exciting!), I've got lots of dog experience but have only ever had older rescue cats growing up. I picked him up at midday ish yesterday and he still hasn't gone for a no2, he's got a litter tray available but other than that is there anything I should do or when should I start to worry? He's had some dry and wet food since being with me.

I'd ring vet for advice. When we first got ours he was sick 3 times. We had never had a kitten before either so we rang and they said bring him in because kittens can go down hill very quick. He also didn't poo for a day they gave him an enema

My new cat didn't wee for 28 hours, and poo was longer than that. He's a baby on a scary new environment.

Thanks that's a relief to hear - I'll see how he goes today as he's otherwise been fine and is eating/drinking and if he still hasn't by later today will call the vet - I was hoping he'd go overnight
