Cat with hyperthyroidism constantly hungry

I have a female 12 year old cat with hyperthyroidism. She is currently on 5ml of Thyronorm per day. Recently she’s been constantly hungry and begging for food. Like she is starving. She’s also been vomiting in the mornings, several times a week.

I took her to the vet who doesn't think it’s a thyroid issue because her blood tests said all was well in September. The problem is she is losing weight. She was 3.75kg and now she’s only 3.25kg and that’s happened over about 3 months.

She eats half a sachet of Lily’s Kitchen in the morning, a whole tin of Applaws at lunchtime, a whole sachet of Lily’s Kitchen in the evening and a Webbox Lick e Lix before bed. This week I’ve been having to add in a Felix soup sachet in the evenings because she’s always meowing for food. She also has access to dry food at all times.

She’s booked in for scans at the vet next week but I’m thinking of just asking them to do another blood test because her symptoms are very similar to when she was first diagnosed with the hyperthyroidism. I don’t want to put her through the stress of the scans because she gets very distressed especially when left with the vet staff.

I would be grateful for any advice. Do you think she is being fed enough?

Anyone? She has been eating well today and hasn’t been sick thankfully.

Honestly if she was my patient I would be rechecking her thyroid levels weight loss with excessive eating in a hyperthyroid cat means it is unstable until proved otherwise.
