Thought I could see a bit of popcorn so I picked it up and put it in my mouth….it wasn’t popcorn

It tasted very woody… I spat it out and guzzled down drink before rushing to brush my teeth and tongue. Ew

Our son ate half a ramekin of kibbles just before Christmas. Only stopped after I pointed out they weren’t human nibbles.
(Recycling next day so I’d emptied the last of the box. He did admit they’d tasted a bit niche 🤣)

I once found myself playing with a cat bouncy ball with my mouth that I then remembered I’d recently seen sat in the litter tray 🙄

How I got confused? Well I was laid in bed watching tv and eating popcorn and you know the little scraggy bits at the end of the pack? Where they are all broken up. Well a few fell so I picked them up to eat. And then I found what I thought was one of the bits to discover it really wasn’t

Yes, honestly! We’d received a generous gift that afternoon, a (modest) hamper from Fortnums. He genuinely thought they were some sort of fancy nibble 🤣

My Mum ate what she thought was a sultana off the kitchen worktop (the sultanas had recently been out of the cupboard so it wasn’t a huge leap), it turned out to be a piece of cat kibble
