Lidded litter tray with long base?

Can anyone recommend a long-based lidded litter tray?

One of my girls is quite poorly with suspected lymphoma. We are having to keep her in and she is used to using the litter tray but she now doesn’t seem to want to go quite far enough in, and she has ended up doing her business out of the end of the tray 🙈 I wondered if a longer tray might avoid the problem - got to be worth a try!

Maybe she doesn't like being fully enclosed. Could you use a large high sided tray instead?

I never managed to find a covered one that was long enough or tall enough for TempCat, who is a very long stretch of cat! I think the largest I found was 60cm and in reality that isn't that big.

So now I use an large underbed storage box, lid off of course. Some litter still gets kicked out as he's a massive digger but it's high sided enough to keep most of it in.

My two-ago cat would always go over the edge no matter how big the tray was! I'd just use puppy pads to catch the spills.

I have a large corner tray. Is triangle shaped so quite long.

Thanks all. I’ve upgraded from the large pets at home tray to the extra large, so we shall see how that goes. I didn’t want to make too many changes and stress her out when she’s already not herself.
