That's it really. He sleeps with me - like a log all night however jumped down at 1:45 so I was hoping he was finally going - but no success. No change in diet. When should I consider taking him to the Vet? He's been freaked out since the fireworks plus mad storms around here however, you would think that would make him go!
He's being very skittish; hiding and tail down but luckily, eating and drinking well.
Any advice welcome,
P.s he is an indoor cat but has loads of interactive play with us, tons of toys and runs around like a loon.

You should take them if they haven't been for 48 hours really.

I think I would be taking them today. My cat didn't go for 3.5 days once and that freaked me out, it can be very dangerous.

Mine isn't a frequent poo-er but if she goes over 2 days I give her catnip (she eats it) or a wet food that has jelly, that seems to get things moving.

I agree with the above, take him to the vets.

Have you tried giving him a lucky treat or two to get things moving? Is he on wet food or dry food?

Many thanks for replies and Sorry for late update - we had success yesterday morning! He's also less skittish; I think a combination of the fireworks followed by the storms,
