Sick 5 month old kitten

We have a 5 month old kitty. He was absolutely full of beans as usual when I left the house this morning at 7:30. DH said he was fine until he left at 10:30am. I got home around 3:30pm, and DS who has been in all day said the cat kept being sick. I looked (as of course DS hadn’t cleaned up!). 1x brown food looking sick. 4x white foam.
He hasn’t eaten any food all day which isn’t like him and not interested in water when I’ve tried to give it to him.
Hes not an outdoor cat. He’s been sleeping and lethargic all evening - any ideas what could be causing this?? So worried!
thanks!

He needs to see a vet. At five months old it's not really an option to "watch and wait" as they can deteriorate very quickly.

He could have eaten something he shouldn't have or swallowed a bit of toy.

Please take him to the vets today. This happened to our kitten a couple of years ago and she went downhill very quickly. Ended up on a drip and had to stay in for a couple of nights, it was frightening. The vets never knew why but did ask if we had any flowers in the house. We had daffodils at the time and she could have eaten some as they are poisonous to cats (obvs we didn’t know that at the time!). Lily’s are particularly dangerous. Hope he gets treated and is okay.
