Cat trackers

I have two rescue cats, both approx 7 months old now.

They want to go out, so I have cat proofed the garden as much as I can, already have a cat flap which is locked at the moment and I am taking it slow with them.

Could anyone advise on a tracker, I have looked, but there are so many, hard to know the best one.
Does anyone have any recommendations please.
Thank you

My parents cat wears an Apple air tag

I'd also suggest an Apple Airtag. (It's what I'd use if my cat would agree to wear a collar, but that's never going to happen).

Apple or Samsung Air tags.

I use the Tractive tracker. It’s been pretty good. Have lost one but they replaced it as I took the insurance out with the subscription.
My cat has been stuck in a garage twice (once overnight) and it’s helped me find him and rescue him!
The app is good and easy to use.

Apple air tag here too

I just made a post about this. I've only just thought I better check if there are any recent ones. 🤦‍♀️

I read it's best to buy a tracker specifically for cats. I know you can buy the collars on Amazon but Apple don't sell the cat collars do they? I don't think they advertise they are safe for pets

? I'm confused as I have 4 year old cat and one that is 4 months.
