How to make cat comfy post op?

Hello,

my beloved 10 year old cat has just come home from having an operation. She’s currently fairly happy. She’s got a room to herself and I’ve set up a few beds for her.

is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable? I’m thinking especially without being able to groom herself. Would she appreciate being brushed?

im assuming no new food or treats that might upset her stomach?

If she is in a hard collar to stop her getting to wound site - swap where you can for a soft version
Finlay loves his so much

My kitten is recovering from an op so we take our other kitten out of the living area at night to ensure she gets fully rested. She's on a prescription diet (kibble) and I was going to get her the wet version as a post op treat but the vet cautioned against it advising consistency. I would think that grooming any area they can't reach would be welcome. I hope your cat has made a good recovery now OP?
