I'm doing a trial with the cat to stop him whinging for biscuits. I'm going to put 100 grams down every day then weigh at the end of the day to see how much he chooses to eat. Let's see if he self regulates. I wonder if he whinges because he's worried he might not be fed and if he can see a huge plate of biscuits he can relax. He has 2 pouches of meat a day and supplementary biscuits but the biscuit allowance is so low we end up giving him too many across a day to shut him up. He used to only have biscuits but vet recommended we move to meat to prevent urinary issues. He has now had cystitis! We are slowly introducing the urinary care biscuits but wondering whether to just completely return to them and get rid of the meat. Anyone got any thoughts on the matter? Thank you
