Hence why I'm mumsnetting at 5am. Though I think she might be try to kill me, as she kept putting her paw over my mouth. 🤣🤣

She has a pulse rate of 110. And a respiratory rate of 16. I need to get out more. 😂

Bless her! Annie dog has just stretched herself across the bed so I’m scrunched up at one end. At least she makes a good source of warmth!

We have had a very timid rescue for 9 years now. Even after all this time she is skittish. However in the past month or so she has taken to coming onto the bed at circa 4 in the morning meowing for snuggles and kisses and to get under the duvet.

It's too cute to ignore. But is why i was up just before 5 this morning.

She is now fast asleep. I might go and meow at her.

She's now asleep on my shoulder, and I can't reach my tea.

I posted Cheddars observations on Facebook. And one of my colleagues is very concerned. (She doesn't get humour) she thinks I need to bleep the doctor and get a 3 lead ECG. Wondering how long to leave it, before telling her it's a cat.

I also have some recent pics of overnight cat headgear courtesy of the new kitten. I didn't dare roll over in case I squashed him.

My cat woke me up at 4.50am this morning trying to cuddle in, I don’t have the heating on at night and think she was looking for a warm spot.

Shes currently asleep on my legs meaning I can’t move to get comfy and sleep myself! She doesn’t come near me in the day time, just loves disturbing my sleep.

She’s cute though so I forgive her.

I mistook Penelope for a towel and had the cheek to move! She's so tiny, I don't notice she's there!

I used to wear my cat like a scarf in bed, kept my ears warm though.It was so nice to fall asleep listening to her purring.However, she normally moved in the night and I woke up every morning to a furry bum in my face.😹
