Divali fireworks and a missing cat!

Stupidly I forgot about Diwali fireworks and let my cat out about 30 mins before they started. I haven’t seen him since and fireworks still going intermittently…
any tips about what I could do other than worrying- he’d never stay out like this normally!

Oh poor cat.
So that’s why wretched fireworks were out in force tonight- still going on.

Your cat may be hiding nearby
Can you leave a window open a crack with some food near the window so she can get in?

fireworks are terrifying for many animals- the smell and sound and sight of the flashes.

My dog is afraid of them and won’t go in the garden when they are going off.

I hope you get her back safe and sound.

Edit -your cat is a he- sorry
Hope you get him
back safely.

Thanks @oakleaffy have left the window open for him and will go down once more to call him again.
im hoping he’s just hiding somewhere are not in shock or something like that.
I didn’t think about the Diwali fireworks until the first ones went off, I’d never have let him out if I had. Kicking myself
