My beautiful 12 year old ginger tom has just been diagnosed with diabetes. I'm hoping and praying our insurance will cover the majority of treatment but it won't cover food. Could anyone with experience of a diabetic cat please tell me what food I can get for him thar won't cost the earth! There's no way we can afford the expensive vet stuff. He currently loves the felix AGAIL fish in jelly, but going forward I'm not sure this is the best for him? I'm aware it has to be ideally wet food with no sugar, high in protein and low in carbs. Any advice? Please help. Thank you x
