Cat acting strange

DCat has just turned 3. All evening she has been sitting on the bottom step, staring either at the front door, the ceiling or a locked door next to the front door. It is starting to freak me out.

We have two other cats who are acting normally. One is on my lap as usual and the other is mooching around as usual. These two go out, the cat who is being weird is a house cat by her own choice.

The last time she behaved like this she sat in the corner staring at the kid‘s play kitchen. Turned out there was a bat in it!! But I‘ve had a good look around where she is and haven’t found anything.

Does this mean there is something in my house that I haven’t found yet? Or is there anything else that could explain her behaviour?

Are fireworks going off near you?

Have you got fireworks going on locally? That's upsetting my two.

We‘re abroad so no fireworks. I just looked and she was sitting in front of and staring straight at the locked door. I‘ve opened the door and let her in. There is just a bit of furniture in there and breakable stuff, it is locked so DC don’t go in. It’s more like a big cupboard.

mouse.

Ghost? Who knows what goes on in a cat's head. I wouldn't worry, as long as she's eating, drinking and otherwise normal.

Spider? Going in and out of the door crevice? Even a tiny one?
