Cat with bulging eye

Hello my cat has a bulging eye we went to the vet on Monday and he said she had an infection although he couldn't tell where and gave her antibiotics. He said she would improve immediately.

She did as soon as we got home she started eating again and yesterday was much perkier again today. However he me eye is still swollen?? Should I be concerned? Will it go down over time?

Any ideas...

Ring the vet and ask them. I hope it goes down soon but they should’ve given you a timeframe and when to take her back.

When our cat had a bad eye it took two weeks of medication to bring it back to normal.

Thank you both we now have a weeks prescription of drugs. Any tips on how to get a cat to take liquid antibiotics? She's discovered it in taramasalata (sp?)

Mine are very good and will just take medication thankfully - we just squirt it into the back of their throats. If you struggle, maybe get one person to hold the cat (wrapped in a towel for safety) then the other does the medicine then release as quickly as possible!
