About my lost cat

Can I tell you about him? He's been gone over a week and hope is fading for his return, I've done all the normal things, fingers crossed but in the meantime I am missing:
When he curls up in a circle on my lap and looks up adoringly whenever I stop stroking
When he shouts the house down if a door is shut that shouldn't be or if I'm taking too long to fill his dish
When he stretches out his front legs in front of him and they look 5 times as long as the rest of his body.
When he "kills" his toy by grabbing it and attacking it with his back legs.
When he follows us round and calls for attention when he's bored and wants to play
When he gets the zoomies round the garden and ends up half way up a tree... the surprised look on his face!
I could go on, I miss him 🙁

A year ago today my Scullycat went missing too, I was heartbroken but never gave up, posters everywhere, flyers through all the local houses, I put it all over Facebook and other social media. I was so upset and couldn't stop crying but kept on searching every day and bombarding the area.

Three weeks to the day she walked back through my bedroom door, very skinny and hungry. I will never know where she was but I believe she had been spooked early on the morning she went missing, ran away, lost her bearings and hid in a nearby shed. I had a message a few days before she reappeared to say a house a few streets away had opened their shed and a cat who could well have been Scully came running out.

All this to say, please don't give up. Knock on all the local doors keep replacing those posters and I hope and pray your cat will come home very soon x
