Magnificent whiskers

Penelope wants to know if any one else has as magnificent facial hair as she has?

Impressive. Reminds me of those people who win moustache competitions ! Certainly she has out-whiskered the Furry Overlord in my house.

Mine do and I also keep alll their shed whiskers in a Ziplok bag on the fridge door with a magnet .....

And that's NOT IN THE LEAST BIT WEIRD

I'm slave to two cats and I don't think I have ever found a whisker!
This makes me ponder...where do they go?

Socks and Matt. I think Socks' white whiskers are a lovely contrast to her black fur and also look more impressive because she's only a tiny thing!

And they’re black not white like those of the four furry posers on this thread so far. Perhaps black whiskers are more likely to drop out? Or more visible?

Well, a quick Google tells me most cats have white whiskers and also that finding a cat whiskers is meant to be lucky so with that haul I’d be buying a lottery ticket!

Our cat has an impressive collection of white whiskers. There is something quite weirdly cool about shed whiskers too, I'm impressed by the ziploc bag!

My senior Siamese chewed one side of the whiskers on the face of the junior Siamese. She did it regularly, junior cat never had a full set. It didn’t seem to interfere with the accurate judging of narrow spaces or distances, though.

I read that mother cats do this to their favorite kitten in a litter. Senior cat never had a litter ( spayed) so she adopted her six month younger sister instead.
Oh how I miss them.

Ours all have dark whiskers so they don't show up well but I offer you Karl's overgrown ear hairs.

Sometimes hard to see as they blend into his fur, but he has magnificent whiskers. Very tickly when he's in my face wanting cuddles

This is my furry boy’s whisker set - difficult to see unless the light hits them just right!

My boy cat doesn't have whiskers as his sister chews them all off. As well as his eyebrows!

Oh my gosh @ThCats!! is he half lion? He’s amazing!!

@Toddlerteaplease Penelope certainly has an amazing set of whiskers and I truly thought there would be few rivals but turns out she has many splendid equals! Though I am strangely impressed by Karl's ear hairs @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats

There are some very impressive examples of facial/ ear hair. And I share the pain of the humans with whiskers. And highly recommend laser treatment!
