Has my dcat sat on my knee! Until today! Amazing what 2 weeks in a cattery can do. Does this now mean I am appreciated or was he sat thinking of a suitable punishment and I need to beware? No picture because ddog decided to also try sit on my knee. Sat on a dining chair and ddog is a dhusky! Dcat flounced off. Oh well lovely while it lasted!
Is your dcat friend or foe today?

Foe as I wouldn't let him out in the rain (has had respiratory issues in the past)
Let him out now it's sunny and he has p*ed off somewhere out of sight, probably neighbours 2 doors down

Mine are at home being spoiled by our adult DD and DS. Well definitely DD anyway.
Fed, cat door unlocked, Dreamies, dinner. The day is theirs to lie on our bed.

They will miss DH but I’ll get the “oh you’re back then?” Look 😅

My younger two are curled up next to me on the sofa snoozing, the older boy is in his box by the window (also snoozing).

This happened to us. The cat was born in 2011 and is DSs cat. He has never been affectionate and sadly (for DS) never sat on anyone's lap... until 2021. He went to the same cattery he's always gone to but over covid we hadn't travelled so there was a long gap. When he came home he jumped on DH's lap and since then he climbs onboard whenever DH sits down. DS has left home and when he comes home the cat ignores him.
